Editorial Policy

Today Mag aims to publish understandable and useful information about wellness, nutrition, recipes, women’s health and healthy living. This page describes the standards we apply to new articles and to the older articles we are reviewing.

Accuracy and evidence

Health claims should be proportionate to the evidence. We prioritize authoritative clinical guidance, public-health organizations, systematic reviews and peer-reviewed research. We distinguish established findings from early, limited or conflicting evidence. We do not present foods, drinks or home remedies as cures for illnesses, and we do not promise a specific amount of weight loss in a set number of days.

Medical advice and safety

Articles are for general information, not individual diagnosis or treatment. Where relevant, medical content explains warning signs that need medical attention and avoids advice that could delay necessary care. We do not recommend stopping prescribed treatment on the basis of an article.

Authors and medical review

Articles are published under the Today Mag byline. An article is labelled as medically reviewed only if a named, qualified professional has personally reviewed that specific article; the reviewer’s name and the review date are then shown on the page. Articles without that label have not been medically reviewed.

Updating older content

Many Today Mag articles were first published between 2019 and 2024. We are auditing them for unsupported claims, outdated information, weak references and misleading titles. Where an article cannot be made accurate and useful, we remove it. Some displayed modification dates may reflect technical maintenance, such as link updates, rather than a full editorial or medical review. A date alone does not mean an article has been medically reviewed.

Sources and links

Sources should support the claims they accompany. We link to the sources we rely on. Dead links, irrelevant references and unverified statements are flagged for correction. A link to another website is not an endorsement of everything published there.

Use of AI tools

We use AI tools to assist with research, outlines, drafting and editing, but AI output is not itself evidence of accuracy. Our current process aims for human editorial assessment and source verification of new or substantially revised health content before publication. Older articles may not have followed this process and are being audited. A named medical-review credit is added only after that professional personally reviews the specific article. Today Mag remains responsible for what it publishes.

Advertising and conflicts of interest

Today Mag is funded by Google AdSense advertising. We do not use affiliate links and we do not publish sponsored articles. If that ever changes, we will disclose it clearly on the article concerned. Advertising does not influence our health content.

Corrections

Readers can report errors or concerns at miloshspasovski1@gmail.com. We assess every report, correct factual errors promptly and note significant health-related corrections on the article.
